Founded in June 2002, ACCA Singapore Toastmasters Club is a non-profit organization supported by ACCA Singapore, managed by ACCA Members for ACCA Members. The club is open to full members, Affiliates and Students of ACCA (including CAT).

 

The ACCA Singapore Toastmasters Club will provide you with a platform on which you can train to become a dynamic speaker, learn effective communication skills, improve your leadership skills and sharpen your management skills – all of which are essential tools for you in the development and success of your career.

Congratulation! 

Our immediate Past President Vincent Lim has represented ACCA Singapore Toastmasters Club in the District 80 International Speech Contest 2009, held in Hong Kong on 17 May 2009, and won the 2nd runner-up placing.

Every year the champion and best speakers of each division from Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Thailand compete in this contest, Vincent was the only contestant from Singapore to reach the top 3 placing this year in 2009.

He was the champion of the club, the area (Area Z4), and the division (Division Z) international speech contest before competing in Hong Kong.

Our network of clubs and their learn-by-doing program are sure to help you become a better speaker and leader. Don’t worry! Everyone in a Toastmasters club was once at the level you are now. The environment is friendly and supportive, and the self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. And you’ll love the applause! Constructive evaluation is the heart of the Toastmasters program. Each time you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out strengths and suggest improvements. At first you’ll be applauded for your effort; later you’ll be applauded for your skill.
